On 6 February 2026, the project Société à Mission Europe – Building the European model of tomorrow’s company in the regions was launched, led by Mathieu Caron and Stéphane Vernac.
This action-research project analyses the legal quality and the uses of the société à mission. It extends an analysis that has so far been mostly national to the regional and European levels: assessing the concrete effects of the société à mission, identifying its strengths and limitations, and exploring the conditions for its diffusion among economic and institutional actors.
The project is supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Kevin Levillain, Blanche Segrestin and Jérémy Lévêque take part in it as members of its scientific council.
